In their debut in the WMILAR moot court, the WPiA team reached the semi-finals. This is a great result, especially given the short preparation time and the challenge itself.
The Faculty was represented by: Adrianna Skupień, Izabela Walkiewicz, Marta Pilarska and Oliwia Andrzejewska. The students distinguished themselves with dedication, eloquence and knowledge.
The trainer and academic supervisor was Cezary Błaszczyk. Additional scientific consultation was provided by Anna Zientara, the supervisor of the Animal Rights Students’ Science Club.
The WMILAR World Moot on International Law and Animal Rights is the first and largest legal moot court event in animal law. The panel is attended by outstanding members of the world’s science and judges from around the world. Regional tournaments are held in 8 places around the world, their winners then compete in the global final. This years’ edition was held at the University of Osijek, Croatia.
